Hi, everyone.
We attended the 2025 KSEE conference in Jeju.
The conference was held from November 19th to 21st.

On the first day (November 19th), our lab (APCC) hosted a special session titled “Air Pollution Monitoring and Air Quality Information System Construction Strategies of Highway.”

In this session, Professor Lee, Chanju and Sangdeok gave their presentations.
Professor’s presentation was titled “Current Trends and Future Challenges in Roadside Air Quality Monitoring”.

The topic of Chanju’s presentation was “Predicting Altitude-Based Roadside Air Pollution Using UAVs and Machine Learning”.

The topic of Sangdeok’s presentation was “Analysis of Spatial Distribution and Influencing Factors of Air Pollutant Concentrations at Highway Sites”.

Meanwhile, Hyemin gave an oral presentation.
The topic of Hyemin’s presentation was “Prediction of Major Allergenic Pollen Concentrations in South Korea Using Machine Learning Models”.

On the third day (November 21st), Gabin and Munseok gave poster presentations.
The topic of Gabin’s presentation was “Comparison of the Importance of Factors Affecting PM2.5 and O3 Concentrations in Seoul by Air Quality Grade”.

The topic of Munseok’s presentation was “Analysis of NO2/CO Ratios at Highway Sites Considering Vehicle Driving Characteristics”.

Also, Soeun gave an oral presentation.
The topic of Soeun’s presentation was “Prediction of CO2 Adsorption Performance of Biochar Based on Machine Learning Model”.

The conference allowed us to explore diverse research topics in the atmospheric science field, and we obtained numerous helpful comments on our research through the presentation and Q&A sessions.
Thank you for reading!
