The 2026 KOSAE 69th Annual Conference
Hi, everyone.
We attended the 2026 Korean Society for Atmospheric Environment (KOSAE) Conference held in Daegu from October 28th to 30th.

On the second and third days (October 29–30), Sangdeok, Gabin, Yeojin, and Minseo & Hyeonggeun presented their posters.
Sangdeok's presentation was titled “AI-Based Calibration of Downwash Effects for Improving the Accuracy of UAV Air Quality Monitoring”.

Gabin's presentation was titled “Deep Learning-Based Short-Term Prediction of PM Spatial Distribution in an Industrial Complex Using Horizontal Scanning LiDAR”.

Yeojin's presentation was titled “Comparison of High Nighttime Ozone Characteristics between Industrial and Urban Areas”.

Minseo & Hyeonggeun's presentation was titled “UAV-based Comparison of Vertical Air Quality Impacts from Industrial and Port Emission Sources”.

On the third day (October 30), Soeun, Chanju, and Hyemin gave oral presentations.
Soeun's presentation was titled “Comparison of Biochar CO2 Adsorption Characteristics Under Dry and Humid Conditions Using Machine Learning”.

Chanju's presentation was titled “Machine Learning-Based Analysis of Air Pollutant Variability at Highway Toll Plazas”.

Hyemin's presentation was titled “Machine Learning for Predicting Emergency Department Steroid Prescriptions for Asthma and Assessing the Relative Importance of Pollen, Meteorological, and Air Pollution Factors”.

The conference was a meaningful opportunity to exchange ideas with fellow researchers, broaden our academic horizons, and gain new perspectives on our research.
Thank you for reading!
